THE MEANING OF THE NAME

The name WA:IT embodies the meeting of two worlds.

WA (和) is the Japanese symbol for harmony, peace, and balance. Historically, it was also one of the ancient names used to identify Japan.

IT represents Italian creativity, craftsmanship, and the ability to celebrate beauty in everyday life.

The colon between them symbolizes a pause in time—a conscious breath, a moment of awareness, an invitation to be fully present.

Together, WA:IT expresses a philosophy where East and West meet, where beauty becomes a ritual, and where every moment holds the possibility of transformation.
